In parts, moderately difficult walking in slightly hilly terrain. Just beyond the manor building, the path leads up to a hillock. The path continues down to the road and then up on a ridge with a number of good outlooks. Sörmlandsleden continues on to a rocky section and across a shingle field and up to a giant’s kettle.
Back on the road, the path passes a homestead, Rösten, and then turns to Röstensberget with fine views over the Tvären archipelago and Studsvik research station. Overnight shelter available in the bay below.
Parking possibilities at several places along the road between the manor and the beach (Sandvik).
As this section goes through a nature reserve setting up a tent is not allowed, only at the camping site (also called Sandvik). There is a youth hostel next to the manor. Through them you can rent small cottages.
