The section largely follows the north-south ridges separated by valleys. Rocky terrain sparsely covered by pine forest makes for relatively easy walking. It is slightly harder to climb and descend from the ridges.
To start with, the path goes along rocky terrain that is easily walked until it reaches Road 219 (Coastal Road) Nyköping-Trosa. Bus stop 700 metres south. The path crosses the road and continues up and down some rocky sections and then to Mummerberget, a long ridge. From here, a beautiful view of lake Rundbosjön and Nynäs Manor surroundings. A coffee stop here is recommended.
During summer, guided tour of the Manor; food and café in the Orangerie. Information about Nynäs nature reserve and Sörmlandsleden is available on the board by the large car park at the entrance to Nynäs Manor.
