This section is easy to hike.
The name Skyrshyttan is a reminder of medieval mining. Only scattered remnants show that there was a mining cabin in the middle ages.
The hike starts at old railway embankments and goes through an area with mature fir trees. After a while the stone foundations of Lilla Aspdalen cottage become visible.
At Stora Aspdalen, after about a kilometre, the trail goes on to forest roads for 2 km. From Månstorp there is 2 km on a gravel road before the section finishes with a further 2 km on an asphalt road to Sandstugan.
