A moderately difficult section, which starts with a steep ascent up the mountain Dragsberget. The trail continues through a ravine up to the ridge. In Winter, good views across the coastal landscape.
After around 1 km through sparse, flat rock forest, you reach a huge cairn "Stora Jättekasten". On the top of the cairn is a boundary stone. Through the forest you catch a glimpse of the farm Lilla Torskhult with a 17th century ridge cottage.
Continue to the road to Stora Torskhult, passing a hollow "fertility oak".
After a short walk through forest, you reach the shore of Lake Mellsjön and a beautifully located shelter. The section ends at the road to Östra Kovik, where there is a parking area.
