This section starts at the former storage building Magasinet Gula kvarn ("the Yellow Mill") in Nävekvarn. You can park your car here, and there is also a parking lot at the bathing location Skeppsvik, from where you can do a round-hike around the Sjöskogsberget mountain via the Svartåhällen picnic area.
For the first part of this trails section you hike along the road for about 1.5 km, before the trail goes steeply uphill onto Fyrberget. This is one of several places with very nice views over Bråviken. At the top of Fyrberget there is a picnic table where you can enjoy the nice view.
After enjoying the view, the trail continues through beautiful coastal nature, and you will soon reach the bathing area at Skeppsvik.
After this, the trail continues into the Sjöskogen nature reserve. Here you can choose if you want to continue on the track close to the coast, or if you want to hike around the mountain by taking the northern-most track. You will soon reach Svartåhällen, a resting area in a beautiful setting, with grilling possibilities.
The hike continues along the shore of Bråviken and up over some smaller heights. You are now getting closer to the end of the trail section. Right at the very end of this section there is an old smithy.
A 900-meter-long handicap accessible trail leads from the car park at Svartåstigen in Sjöskogen to Svartåhällen´s resting area.
