Start: N 58°43.720' E 016°50.493'. A few cars can park at Fada mill (across the road).
Fada mill is the culmination of a major dam system. Here are a mill, smithy, Sörmland's highest waterfall and memories from the Besch ironworks from the 1600s.
The section is relatively easy to hike. From the mill the trail crosses the highway into a beautiful ravine with luxuriant vegetation. Then the trail passes and follows another ravine before the climb up the Jätteberget (Giant's hill) commences to 72.5 m asl. You have a great view from the top - a recommended resting place. During the second world war an air space monitoring station was situated here. The descent as well as the continued walk are starting out easy. Later the path follows the edge of a steep rock face with great views over the fertile plain on the other side of the river Kilaån.
The hike then connects to the main trail (section 44), which towards the right continues to Sandstugan and Koppartorp and straight on towards Nykoping. Short before this connection there is a tree shaped as a bench. Have your coffee here and enjoy the views of Kila Valley!
