The trail connects Flen and Hälleforsnäs and has a total length of about 20 km. The first part of the section goes as far as the Harpsund road and is an easy and varied route. From Flen railway station the trail is marked on the lamp posts up to Hammarvallen sports ground.
From Hammarvallen the trail follows the floodlit running trail for 1 km and then continues to Orrhammaren Lake, where there is an opportunity for swimming.
A 100 metres long footbridge crosses a stream and a boggy area, after which the trail passes through Orrhammarens recreational area.
There then follows a 3 km long section in woodland before the trail crosses a road at Vikmanstorp where one can stop for a rest at a natural spring. During summer the spring sometimes dries out.
At Fridal the path descends into a rift valley and further to the east Lake Mellösasjön. Mellösa church dates from the 13th century. From the hill with the other ancient buildings the lake can be glimpsed.
After another few kilometres the trail reaches Harpsund road which leads west to the end of the section.
